> U.S. storms back to earn 2-2 draw with Slovenia in second World Cup game
The U.S. Men's National Team continued their run in the 2010 FIFA World Cup with a dramatic come-from-behind effort to draw Slovenia 2-2. Down 2-0 at halftime, an early second half strike by Landon Donovan created momentum before Michael Bradley tied the match in the 82nd minute. Another goal by Maurice Edu on a free kick just minutes later seemed certain to earn the U.S. the win, but referee Koman Coulibaly disallowed the finish for a U.S. foul in the box.

> PSW Video of the Week: U.S. vs England goals with Legos
The makers of Lego have been recreating the goals from this year's World Cup. The draw between the U.S. and England last Saturday has produced one of the most entertaining videos so far (thank you, Robert Green). Relive the U.S.'s goal as Lego Clint Dempsey shows off his great ball control and creativity, and England GK Green lies on the ground in despair.

> Wimmer: Has youth soccer in America left behind the inner city?
Little has changed with regards to soccer in this country being viewed as a "suburban kids" game. Is this due to a lack of interest of soccer in the inner cities of America or is it due to the high cost of participating in competitive youth soccer leagues? PSW guest blogger Chris Wimmer explores the problem and what coaches and soccer fans can do to change this.

VYSA's Gordon Miller Asks...Year-round Youth Soccer?: More and more we are hearing how important it is for parents to put their kids in soccer-related activities all year long or their child will fall behind. Not only do the children now play their regular fall and spring soccer seasons, but some play their travel season and high school season at the same time. More are playing in summer leagues that are popping up all over the place. But is this good for soccer players to only play soccer all year long? Miller talks about the risks and how it may be best to develop the whole body through multiple sports.

How Soccer Helped DC's Gilbert Boli Kemda-Kemtsop's Education: Eto'O, whose official name is Gilbert Boli Kemda-Kemtsop, was slipping through the cracks at DC's Roosevelt Senior High School after moving to the U.S. from Cameroon. Check out his journey and how soccer helped this bright student and soccer player on his way to a diploma.

Behind The Scenes With ESPN At The World Cup: CNN's Michael Holmes visited the nerve center of ESPN's operations in South Africa. Check out this behind the scenes look at the temporary control room they've set up and how they're covering the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

We've Got Soccer Rankings!: Potomac Soccer Wire will begin publishing soccer team rankings next Tuesday, June 22nd. Over three years ago, when we started PSW, we actually tried to track rankings for teams in one local league, by hand, using spreadsheets with a proven algorithm based on the one used by FIFA to rank national teams. It worked, but required far too many hours of our own time, and was not ever really fair because it only included games within the league. We've now finally automated the way scores are collected, by turning that over to the community. So, get your results in our companion website at www.report-a-score.com before Monday to help your team get off on the best foot. The more games you enter before then, the more accurate your first team ranking will be in our first edition. With your help, we believe report-a-score.com could change the world of soccer for the better in becoming the one place everyone in soccer in the USA can go to find information on every player, game, team, league, tournament, and field in the country.
