Potomac Falls High School Playoffs: Just a little shameless self promotion hoping to increase the attendance tonight at a playoff double-header at Potomac Falls High School in Sterling. The girls team stormed up the table in the second half of the Dulles District season, winning six of their last seven games, with the sole loss a controversial 2-0 loss at Broad Run. Among many of the highlights from impressive run, saw freshmen winger Nicole Crew score two goals in a 2-1 OT win over Briar Woods Wednesday night, the second a dramatic header with just two minutes remaining. The third-seeded Lady Panthers ended up in a three-way tie for second place, and were slotted into the third seed for playoffs after tie-breaker were applied. The girls play Freedom tonight at 6 PM, while the boys teams goes around 7:45 against cross-town rivals Dominion.
