Dempsey Brace Against Chelsea: American Clint Dempsey, having recently earned plenty of playing time and starts again at Fulham in recent weeks, was the hero for Fulham fans in Sunday's English Premier League Match of the Week. Following up his late game-sealing goal a week ago, Dempsey book-ended two Frank Lampart goals to put a dent in Chelsea's title hopes. Check out the video here.

SAC History: The Soccer Association of Columbia/Howard County (SAC) has posted a bit of history on their web site, an expert and photos from a 1986 newspaper article in the Baltimore Sun.

2008 Year in Review: A nice AP story and even better photo gallery covering what was an extremely busy year in world soccer.

Ten "Best" Red Cards Ever: According to Goal.com, these are the 10 most notorious, dumb, bizarre, red cards in soccer history - aided by YouTube of course.
