---- Editor's Corner ----

VA Beach's Hucles assuming larger role with WPS: After having waited 'til the 12th round in the inaugural WUSA player draft in 2000, Angela Hucles won't have to wait nearly so long this time around as the Women's Professional Soccer League launches another professional women's league next summer.

Bethesda player in Brazil: Dan Greenberg, Staff Writer for the Gazette profiled recent Walter Johnson graduate Lucas Szabo as he prepares for his college (and professional) career. Szabo spent the last three months playing on three under-20 soccer teams in Brazil before training with Real Maryland's U-20's and helping his MSC Dragons advance in MSYSA State Cup play.
