Looking like they had been training together for much more than just four weeks, the "Monarchs" out-shot the GW Colonials 13-6, but conceded a 60th minute goal before drawing level in the 78th on a beautiful goal by William Brindley. Despite the scrimmage being unannounced, a healthy crowd of around 400 was a great sign of support for the first year USL-2 team.
