FIFA secures Donovan's US goal record on technicality

Loyola confirms PSW story that John Byford has left the school to take on the head women's team job at Villanova, where he was an Assistant from 1995-1997. Byford was also the head coach of the SAC U-13 Premier girls team.

Applications are now being accepted for the US Club Soccer 2008 National Cup VII and are due by April 14, 2008.

The Screaming Eagles will have a van to take people down for the D.C. United-Richmond Kickers pre-season game, Saturday, March 22 at University of Richmond. Kickoff is at 7:00 pm.

Results of the Arlington Travel Soccer Club's Spring Invitational 2008, March 1-2 (Boys U10-15), are posted. Girls play the weekend of March 7-9

The US Club Soccer National Collegiate Showcase application is available online. The Showcase will be held in conjunction with the 2008 National Cup VII Finals for boys and girls U16-U17 teams in Virginia Beach, Va. on July 26-29, 2008.

> Bier FC and NVSL Spring Kickoff Tournament
Bier FC and Northern Virginia Soccer League (NVSL) are hosting a spring half-field tournament for men's open teams on Sunday, March 16th at South Run Recreation Park in Burke, VA. Games will be 7v7 (including GKs), with a max roster per team of 15. Each team is guaranteed 4 35-minute games, with top two teams receiving awards. Only 10 teams accepted. Deadline for registration is March 12th. Cost is $150 per team. To register, send an email to roger@tsandt.com with: Team Name, League, Current Division, Team Color, Team Manager Cell number.
