---- Editor's Corner ----

Correction: If you read our story on Chris Megaloudis on Tuesday, you may be as surprised as we were to learn we reported on the wrong Chris. Although the local version of Megaloudis does exist, is a great soccer player, and is the brother of the late Nicole Megaloudis, the Chris Megaloudis that recently scored for the Puerto Rican National Team and is attending tryouts with the New Red Bulls is not the local Chris. Word has it they are cousins. Our apologies for the mistake, and our promise that we'll do better at fact checking in the future.

How to make the National Team: What does it take to make the US Women's National team? Hear advice from current players and coaches. By the way, it's good advice for trying to make ANY team.

Ronald Cerritos: Soon to be Real Maryland star Ronald Cerritos scored a hat-trick for El Salvador in their 12-0 thumping of Anguilla. Cerritos, a former D.C. United forward and MLS Star had local company on the score sheet in the form of Eliseo Quintanilla, also a former United player. Oddly enough, Anguilla's "home leg" of the 2-game series is being played at RFK Stadium in late March.

Get your club and league news on Google: Did you know Potomac Soccer Wire is an approved news source for globally utilized Google News? They only have around 4,000 approved sites. You can help us help you by sending us your big news - the more in a "news release" format the better. If we post it as a major headline, you'll be on Google within minutes. Even if your news doesn't qualify for our headlines, we'll be sure to include it in our boasts or notes sections in the next newsletter.
