AC Cugini, an Italian soccer school and club in Reston, VA, and the only soccer club in North America  sanctioned by the Italian National Olympic Committee and Italian Soccer Federation, is seeking a few players to fill spots on the 2 special  tournament teams the club is taking to Italy  June 17-29, 2008. Boys and girls ages 12-17 are eligible, including non-Cugini players. Cugini's 8th Annual Soccer in Italy Tour will include participation in the Renato Curi tournament on the Italian Adriatic and friendly matches with Roman teams at Cugini's facilities in Rome. This is a great opportunity for American players to add international playing experience to their soccer background and for the most talented players to be reviewed by scouts from professional Italian clubs. > Maryland SoccerPlex 2008 Spring CHALLENGE Tournaments
The Maryland SoccerPlex presents the 2008 Spring CHALLENGE soccer tournaments for premier level teams. These tournaments will be played on the new synthetic turf fields and will be limited to 30 teams per tournament. Applications are being accepted for the following age groups: U16, U17 and U18. The boy's tournament will be held on March 8-9; the girl's tournament will be held on March 15-16. All teams are guaranteed four (4), seventy (70) minute games. This tournament is sanctioned by Maryland State Youth Soccer and is open to all USYS as well as USSF affiliates, i.e., US Club Soccer, USL teams, etc. If you have additional questions, please call 301-528-1480 or email Louise Waxler, lwaxler@mdsoccerplex.org.
