---- Editor's Corner ---- Intensity in Argentina: Jeff Rusnak, a Soccer Columnist for South Florida's Sun Sentinel recently spoke with U-20 Coach Thomas Rongen on his return to the US after the United States' under-20 team went 0-1-2 during an 11-day trip to Buenos Aires. The consensus was that friendlies the team played against River Plate, Argentina and Uruguay youth sides is perhaps the least of what they will remember of the trip.
Hokie History: Early this decade, the Virginia Tech men's soccer team had a paltry budget, a lousy field, a handful of scholarships, and, not surprisingly, had never been to the NCAA tournament. But a bigger commitment from the school and a resourceful coach have paid off big time in a few short years.

MLS Referees and the Bundesliga: Ian Plenderleith's interview with Ivan Gazidis covered the standards of refereeing in MLS and how it might improve, and how the poor bench behavior of some coaches and players isn't helping the officials to do their jobs. Gazidis also spoke about a possible MLS-Bundesliga tournament, among other issues facing MLS's future.
Cirovski Inverview: Maryland men's Head Coach Sasho Cirovski was recently featured on the cover of Coach and Athletic Director Magazine, which contains an in-depth interview for this man with a plan.
