Hammers: London's EPL side West Ham United may be headed to the USA with an entry into the USL 1 league - the tier immediately below MLS in this country. Considering a partnership that has already been formed between the club and USL, and a growing trend of interest by foreign teams to tap into the growing American talent base, this move seems logical. Umbro - 98% owners of United Soccer Leagues, is also the primary shirt sponsor for the Hammers, which makes this move rumor even more likely. Read about it here.
USSoccerPlayers.com pulls MLS Coverage: Very interesting open letter on USSoccerPlayers.com explaining their frustration with the MLS Media Relations offices and announcing their discontinuation of MLS coverage. We'll certainly miss their coverage, as it was linked to from here often.
