The field of 64 teams, which will compete for the 26th NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Championship, was announced Monday by the NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Committee. The four No.1 seeds include UNC - Chapel Hill, Penn State,  UCLA, and Stanford. Virginia received a 4th seed. Loyola, Navy, Georgetown, JMU, and W&M were also named. It's Georgetown's first ever selection.

> Real Maryland F.C. Holding Open Tryouts for Professional Team
The newest Second Division professional team of the United Soccer Leagues is holding open tryouts on two Saturdays in November and December. The team is coached by Silvino Gonzalo, who recently left Northern Virginia Royals after 10 years to take the reins. Tryouts are open to any player who believes they have what it takes to be a professional. Tryouts will be held on two Saturdays, which each requiring separate registration. The location and times will be announced soon. The first Saturday is November 24, and you must pre-register by November 16. The second date is December 22, which has a registration deadline of December 14. A registration form and more information can be found on our website: www.realmaryland.us.

STBW is offering Futsal Training and striker training sessions this winter. Futsal is a form of indoor soccer that requires quickness, vision and excellent ball skills. All the great South American soccer players developed their skills growing up playing Futsal. Our Futsal training focuses on developing superior ball skills, balance and spatial awareness-the attributes of a complete soccer player. This winter we are also offering STRIKER TRAINING sessions integrated with Speed and Agility Drills. Team rates are available in all our locations! The new Terry Foley Soccer School is now open for business, with sessions planned throughout Northern Virginia. Terry, one of the most successful youth coaches in the USA, winning 24 Virginia State Cup Championships, and coached over 100 players to Division 1 colleges. Terry has also teamed up with Mark Simpson and Ricky Ervins to offer a comprehensive winter training program. Skills, goal keeping, strength, and speed - all in one place.
