As a casual Arsenal fan, I'm sad to report the wires are saying Thierry Henry has signed a four year deal with Barcelona and will be leaving the London club after four years.
A London tabloid claims actor Tom Cruise will buy the LA Galaxy for about $80 million. Believe it when I see it, but it would only add to bringing soccer fully into pop culture in the US, something that is necessary if we're ever going to fill stadiums on a regular basis within the next decade. But lots of down-side too if you're at the Galaxy.
