Brian Ching and Eddie Johnson notched goals on either side of the halftime whistle to lead the US to a 2-0 win. The victory gives the US six points in group play and sole possession of first place. The US dominated the ball and could have scored several more if not for the efforts of Trinidadian 'keeper Jan Michael Williams.

Chantilly Soccer Club's FC Virginia Courage are holding tryouts for next season's U-13 age group year. We play in WAGS division 3 and attend top tournaments, recently making the finals in both the 2007 Jefferson Cup and Virginian.
Tryout dates are:
Tuesday, June 12 at Fred Crabtree Park from 5:45 - 7:45
Friday, June 15 at Word of Grace (old Redskin Park) from 5:00 - 7:00
Friday, June 22 at Word of Grace from 5:00 - 7:00
Player candidates must be looking for a high-quality and high-intensity learning environment, run by professional coaches that nurture a passion for the world's greatest game.
