The Freestate Bravehearts Boys U14 (born after Aug 1, 1993) are holding open tryouts on June 5, 7 and 12, 5:30-7:00PM on Murtaugh#2 at the Allen Pond field complex in Bowie.  The team is coached by Bill Heiser, a former US Youth National Team member who represented the US in a Youth World Cup, wand also was a captain on the Nationally ranked Loyola College Greyhounds. The team is looking for talented, hard working and dedicated players to help take the team to the highest levels of the NCSL and beyond. The team is particularly interested in filling the goal keeper position, however, all positions will be competed at these tryouts. Maryland United FC is on a recruitment drive for high school and college level players. The elite men's club is currently taking high school and college elite players who want to play competitive semi-pro indoor and outdoor soccer year round. Players sign amateur contracts and are not paid to play, in line with NCAA rules.
