Anson Dorrance lawsuit settled out of court

After nearly 10 years of dealing with a sexal harrasement lawsuit against its famed coach Anson Dorrance, the most storied women\'s soccer program in the country has settled. Former player Melissa Jennings will receive $385,000, mostly for attorney\'s fees in the settlement. The cost will be covered by the athletic department\'s 2007-08 budget and no tuition or state funds will be used, according to school officials - as reported by the Associated Press. The case had gone the whole way to the U.S. Supreme Court and was sent back for a trial late last year.
