Casey Townsend’s goal in the 14th minute was all the No. 3 Terrapins needed to remain undefeated on the season as they upended previously unbeaten and second-ranked Creighton, 1-0, Friday night before a raucous crowd at Ludwig Field.
Virginia men's soccer dominates Clemson, 2-0

The No. 17 Georgetown University men's soccer team posted its sixth shutout of the season with a 2-0 victory over the DePaul University Blue Demons (3-6-1, 1-1-0 BIG EAST) on Saturday afternoon at North Kehoe Field. The Hoyas tallied an early goal and added a security score in 90th minute to improve to 6-1-3 overall and 2-0-0 in the BIG EAST Conference.

Navy's Zach Davis was named the Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week, the first weekly award for a Navy men's soccer player this year.
Longwood University freshman Zach Crandall (Lorton/South County) has been named Atlantic Soccer Conference (ASC) Player of the Week, junior Niels van Pelt earned ASC Rookie of the Week honors, and senior Joel Helmick (Springfield/W.T. Woodson) has been named ASC Goalkeeper of the Week.
Navy sophomore forward Ashlynn Soellner was selected as the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Weekand, while freshman forward Morgan Dankanich earned Patriot League Rookie of the Week award.
Salisbury University freshman goalkeeper Michelle Conrad has been named the CAC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive week.
