Frostburg University men's soccer qualfies for post season

Frostburg, Md. (Nov 6, 2007) - The Frostburg State men\'s soccer team grabbed the eighth and final spot in the 2007 Eastern College Athletic Conference Tournament and will travel to No. 5 seed Carnegie Mellon, Wednesday for the opening round game at 7:30 pm.

This season\'s tournament is broken down into an east and west region. FSU and CMU are in the west along with Westminster and Bethany. The east region features Swarthmore, Misericordia, Penn State Altoona and Cabrini.

This is the first time the Bobcats have earned a postseason tournament berth since the 2003 men\'s soccer squad advanced to the ECAC Tournament with a 10-7-2 mark. Frostburg State finished the season with its sixth-straight Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Tournament semifinal appearance.
