D.C. United runs past Georgetown 4-0 in reserve match [VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS]
26 Aug, 2010After snapping their losing streak against Philadelphia on Sunday, D.C. United continued their momentum with a 4-0 win over Georgetown University in a reserve match on Wednesday morning.
Head coach Ben Olsen split the squad for the two halves in order to prepare for their trip to Los Angeles this weekend to face Chivas USA. Adam Cristman and Junior Carriero both had goals, and Danny Allsopp added two goals after his hat trick performance against Philadelphia on Sunday, totalling five goals in two games.
D.C. United Academy product Conor Shanosky entered the game in the second half for his first United appearance, as he is not allowed in any competitive matches until next season.
