New Mexico's Elizabeth Lambert returns to the field after suspension [VIDEO]
25 Aug, 2010New Mexico Lobos women\'s soccer player Elizabeth Lambert, who became a web sensation after video of her violent play against BYU players went viral, has just completed her two game suspension and will return to the field. Best known for pulling the ponytail of another player and yanking her to the ground, the senior missed New Mexico\'s first two games (both wins) of the 2010 season.
Lambert was expected to attend a news conference Tuesday with New Mexico head coach Kit Vela and New Mexico athletics director Paul Krebs, but she was a no show. The team has also closed their practices to the media. Lambert is expected to do interviews later in the season, but wants to move on from the incident and put focus on the team.
