Individual Honors:
Virginia senior forward Meghan Lenczyk (McLean, Va.) was named the Top Drawer Soccer National Player of the Week. Lenczyk recorded four goals and an assist in the Cavaliers’ wins over Liberty and Colgate last week.
After scoring two goals in Loyola University Maryland’s 3-2 victory over Towson University on Saturday night, sophomore forward Nichole Schiro earned a spot on the Top Drawer Soccer National Team of the Week.
UMBC senior midfielder Sandra Vacarino recorded a league-high three points and was named America East Women’s Soccer Player of the Week for the first week of the season.
Senior Christine Calderon (Yorktown, Va. / York) has been named the season\'s first Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week after scoring two goals in two games.
William and Mary Tribe senior women’s soccer player Danielle Axenfeld was named the CAA Player of the Week. The honor is the first for Axenfeld in her career.

The No. 7 Virginia women’s soccer team continued its strong start to the 2010 season, cruising to a 6-0 victory over Colgate Sunday afternoon at Klöckner Stadium. The Cavaliers outshot the Raiders 30-0 in the contest, as they improved to 2-0-0 on the season.
Lady Hoyas score five goals in seven minutes in 9-0 American drubbing
An American University women\'s soccer record crowd of 1,511 fans came out to Reeves Field on Saturday afternoon for the season opener, but the hometown support was not enough to keep the Eagles close to Georgetown. The Hoyas pulled away late in the first half with a flurry of goals en route to a 9-0 victory.
Player Note: Freshmen Brenna Smith from nearby Ashburn, VA and 3-time State Champion with Broad Run high school started and played the first 35 minutes.

The American University women’s soccer team traveled to Blacksburg, Va., on Monday afternoon, and came up on the short end of a 3-0 decision to the 15th-ranked Virginia Tech Hokies.
