Spotlight on Maryland alum Omar Gonzalez [VIDEO]
17 Aug, 2010Maryland alum and Los Angeles Galaxy defender Omar Gonzalez is only in his second year as a professional, but last week might be one of the biggest of his career. Gonzalez got his first U.S. Men\'s National Team cap in the USA match against Brazil, and he started and played all 90 minutes. He also played in a friendly against Real Madrid, and against French star Thierry Henry as the Galaxy defeated the New York Red Bulls 1-0.
Soccer By Ives interviewed Gonzalez after the Galaxy win over New York at Red Bull Arena to talk about his big week:
