CONCACAF Beach Soccer championships postponed as precaution
2 May, 2009The CONCACAF Beach Soccer Championship scheduled to begin Wednesday, April 29, in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, has been postponed due to the growing concerns of H1N1-A in the country. The U.S. Beach Soccer National Team was scheduled to face Bahamas and Costa Rica in Group B of the regional championship. A new date for the six-team CONCACAF Beach Soccer Championship, which was to conclude Sunday with the title match, has not been determined. Different options are being evaluated with local authorities.
