D.C. United swamped at the Swamp

D.C. United's first road game in nearly two months started off well with Jaime Moreno's 120th career MLS goal putting the black and red in front of the struggling New York Red Bulls at Giants "The Swamp" Stadium in NJ. But then then then one mistake lead to another, as the Black and Red were overrun 4-1 in an embarrassing loss to an average team.

United are back at RFK Tuesday night for the U.S. Open Cup semifinal against New England, then back on the road to Chicago and New England for two consecutive MLS matches. Tuesday's match is not part of any season ticket packages, so fans are asked to pre-order by phone, or arrive early for at-the-gate tickets.
