SuperLiga kicks off Saturday, United opens with Guadalajara at RFK

D.C. United faces Mexico's CD Guadalajara Saturday night at RFK in the first match of the nearly four week SuperLiga tournament. With a $1 million first prize, the 2nd year competition pits four Mexican League teams against four MLS sides. United has home field advantage during group play, facing Atlante on Tuesday, and then wrapping up with Houston next Saturday. Semifinals will consist of the top two finishers in each of the two groups, and will take place July 29th and 30th. The final is on Tuesday, August 5th.
