D.C. United en Accion debuts on Saturday May 10th

For the sixth consecutive year, D.C. United announced plans to broadcast a weekly 30-minute Spanish-language TV program throughout the 2008 Major League Soccer season.  D.C. United en Accion will air every Saturday from 10:00-10:30 a.m. ET on WZDC Telemundo Washington.  The premiere episode will be shown this Saturday, May 10th.

“D.C. United en Accion has proved to be a valuable vehicle to share news and information on the club with our Hispanic fans,” said United Executive Vice President Stephen Zack.  “With the help of our sponsors, this show continues to focus on the best organization in the League, both on and off of the field.”

For the third consecutive year, the show will be produced by Fine Productions and this season, it will have a new host, radio sports anchor Alejandro Bravo. A native of Colombia, Bravo boasts more than 20 years of experience in radio journalism and is the current voice of D.C.’s radio show “La Tribuna del D.C. United” on WZHF Continental Radio.

D.C. United en Accion will bring fans the most comprehensive, in-depth D.C. United soccer news, with features, game analysis, and interviews with coaches and players.  There will be a total of 28 episodes this year, running to November 15.
