Baltimore Blast advance to MISL Championship for fouth time

The Baltimore Blast defeated the Milwaukee Wave, 14-13, Sunday afternoon in Game Two of the MISL Semifinals to advance to the 2008 MISL Championship. The Blast will play the Monterrey La Raza in the Championship. Monterrey (Mexico) is in their first season as an MISL team. This will be the first time a team from Mexico will compete in the league finals and the fourth time the Blast have appeared since the current version of MISL began in 2001. The Blast have never lost a championship series as a finalist. The 2008 MISL Chapmionship will be played at U.S. Cellular Arena in Milwaukee on Saturday, April 26 at 7 p.m. Eastern Time and can be heard on WCBM 680 AM or on the Internet at wcbm.com
