United's preseason preparations are ramping up in balmy Bradenton, Fla. as the countdown to next month's CONCACAF Champions' Cup opener continues. United's surprising roster makeover featured several notable departures and a raft of new arrivals, making team-building a top priority for head coach Tom Soehn and his staff along with the usual conditioning work that is an annual ritual at this time of year.
