Goff: Colombian player is close to joining D.C. United
12 Jan, 2008Washington Post\'s soccer beat journalist Steven Goff is reporting that D.C. United is close to signing Colombian National team veteran Gonzalo Martinez. He\'s a central defender currently with Millionaros in the Colombian league. Nothing has been reported here by D.C. United as yet, but Goff says Martinez has been telling local media in Colombia that he has signed with MLS and will join United.
