Defending MLS Cup champions Real Salt Lake soundly defeated D.C. United 3-0 on Saturday, in what was a rainy night at Rio Tinto Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah. Real Salt Lake dominated the evening and got goals from Álvaro Saborío, Robbie Findley and Nelson Gonzalez.
