PSW's Daily World Cup Update: Tuesday, July 6, 2010 [VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS]

With the crazy and dramatic Quarterfinals behind us, we\'re down to four teams. Will the Dutch finally be able to win the big game? Will Spain advance to their first Finals? Or will Uruguay or Germany look to add more titles for their country? World Cup Semifinal results:

Netherlands  3:2  Uruguay -
A late charge from Uruguay made it an exciting game in the last few minutes, but the Dutch are moving on to the World Cup Final. The captain Giovanni Van Bronckhorst had the first goal in the 18th minute, with a beautiful long-range rocket that hit the inside of the far post and bounced in the net. Diego Forlan tied it up right before half with another long-range shot (and poor positioning from the GK), but second half goals from Wesley Sneijder and Arjen Robben put the Dutch in the driver\'s seat. Uruguay\'s Maxi Pereira made it interesting with an injury time goal to pull within one. Though they had the ball in the Dutch box with seconds left, they couldn\'t find an equalizer. Check out Robben\'s spectacular header that proved to be the game-winner:

News From Around The Cup:

* Brazil coach Dunga and his staff were fired Sunday, two days after they were beaten by the Netherlands in the World Cup quarterfinals.

* Nigerian president Goodluck Jonathan has dropped a threat to suspend the national soccer team from playing for two years because of its poor World Cup showing and corruption allegations.

* Coach Gerardo Martino is leaving the Paraguay national team and striker Roque Santa Cruz says this was his last World Cup.

* Argentina\'s national team returned home Sunday amid high security after an exit from the World Cup that many fans felt was humiliating and premature.

* Vuvuzelas are being banned by the organizers of several forthcoming major international events.
