Paraguay reached the FIFA World Cup™ quarter-finals for the first time as they edged Japan 5-3 in a penalty shoot-out after a drab goalless draw in Pretoria.

David Villa scored the game\'s only goal, and he thinks it\'s one of his best ever. The goal came in the 63rd minute, as Portugal\'s defense had been fending off a constant Spanish attack all game. Check out Villa\'s goal:

* With pressure for video replay mounting after two blatant missed calls at the World Cup, FIFA president Sepp Blatter said soccer\'s governing body will reopen the issue after the tournament.
* The head of the U.S. Soccer Federation is willing to have Major League Soccer experiment with changes that would reduce errors by on-field officials.
* French Football Federation president Jean-Pierre Escalettes says he will quit later this week following France\'s World Cup fiasco.
* U.S. coach Bob Bradley\'s future remains in question after the missed opportunity against Ghana.
* England manager Fabio Capello\'s future with the Three Lions is also up in the air.
