D.C. United and Washington Freedom to play double-header

D.C. United, in conjunction with Washington Freedom and the DC Sports and Entertainment Commission, announced today the club is set to play a double-header on Saturday, May 1 at RFK Stadium. United is set to host the New York Red Bulls at 4:00 p.m. ET with Washington Freedom taking on St. Louis Athletica immediately following.

“United-Freedom double-headers provide a great opportunity for soccer fans to experience top flight men’s and women’s soccer in a single package,” said United Executive Vice President Stephen Zack. “The Freedom remain a quality organization with a rich history and we’re excited to continue to work with them.”

In addition, United announced today that the start time to the club’s game at Colorado October 2 has been re-set for 5:00 p.m. ET.
