British Tigers FC win back to back league championships
8 Jun, 2009The Washington D.C. based men\'s amateur soccer club, British Tigers FC, have successfully won the WISL Saturday First division for the second consecutive season. This is the first time the Tigers have won back to back titles in the clubs eighteen year history.
The British Tigers FC amassed a record of 7-1-1 lead by a strong defense and high powered offense. Tigers goal keeper David Thomas and center back David Atkinson were instrumental in keeping six clean sheets and giving up five goals on the season for a GAA of 0.66. The Tigers offense, which was lead by Alun Oliver and Justin Sampson who tallied a combined 12 goals and 4 assists on the season.
