Gomez arrives in DC from Argentina to join Real Maryland

Real Maryland announced that midfielder Pablo Gomez - younger brother of former MLS MVP Christian Gomez - arrived in Washington D.C. this morning and join up with his Real Maryland teammates for training within the next few days.

The Argentine joins Real Maryland from the youth system of Atlético Nueva Chicago in Buenos Aires.

“I am excited that he is arriving and anxious to see how he meshes with his new teammates,” said head coach Silvino Gonzalo. “If he arrives on time today, he will start training with the team on tomorrow.”

Real Maryland travels to Cleveland this weekend for a Saturday night rendezvous with the Cleveland City Stars. The Monarchs return to the Maryland SoccerPlex Saturday, May 17 for a 7:30 PM match-up with the same Stars.
