Under-15 Boys
After securing the League title and a seat in the National Championships, GSA Phoenix (GA) was looking to finish up their season as the second boys team to go undefeated through League play. In a match up with fellow Region III team, CESA Premier 92 (SC), it looked to end in a tie with the 0-0 score until the 72nd minute. Receiving a clean pass from teammate Ado Junuzovic, Chase Park netted a GSA goal from 12 yards out for the 1-0 victory.

Opening their game against Campton United (IL), GSA\'s Iain Smith headed a pass straight up and into the wind, and it carried over the keeper and into the net for a 16th minute for a 1-0 upper hand. Defending against the wind in the second half, GSA held onto the lead to go 5-0-0 for the season.

US Youth Soccer National League Boys wrap up play in Plantation, Fla.
15 Feb, 2010The US Youth Soccer National League Under-15, Under-16 and Under-17 Boys competing this weekend solidified their standings today at Central Park in Plantation, Fla.
The remaining four teams in each of the National League Boys age groups will resume play March 19-21 in Las Vegas, at the 2010 Player\'s Soccer Showcase where League standings will be finalized for all boys and girls teams. Champions will be crowned and the top two teams per gender age group will have their tickets punched to the 2010 US Youth Soccer National Championships in Overland Park, Kan., July 20-25.
The Under-15 Girls Dallas Texans 95 Red (N-TX) and Under-17 Boys GSA Phoenix are the first of 12 National League teams to advance to the National Championships via the League.
Under-15 Boys
Illinois Lemont Raiders and Dallas Texans 95 Red were at zeros until the second half when an own goal gave Lemont a 1-0 lead in the 43rd minute. The lead was extended after a defensive miscue, and Lemont\'s Abel Guzman jumped on a loose ball for a 51st minute goal. To wrap up the 3-0 Lemont victory, Romo Gonzalo took a solo effort, sliding the ball under the keeper for a 76th minute goal.
The Baltimore Bays Chelsea (MD) and 94 CASL Elite (NC) were evenly matched with only one goal getting past the keeper. CASL\'s Yanni Hachem netted the only goal of the game in the 63rd minute from 12 yards out for the 1-0 CASL win.

Penn Fusion\'s Adrian Neeley scored on a cross from teammate Keegan Rosenberry to tie it up in the 77th minute. Waza retaliated a minute later when Adriel Neely won the ball at midfield, and on a solo effort, beat two defenders, slotting the ball under the keeper to solidify the 2-1 win.
Tulsa TSC 94 Black (OK) took control early on against Concorde Fire Elite (GA) with two goals in the first half. The first came in the 15th minute when Alexander Bright capitalized off a scramble in front of the goal and the second from Anesuishe Raranje\'s header in the 25th minute. Concorde\'s Drew Morgan put one on the board off of a corner kick in the 54th minute. The game ended at 2-1 for TSC.

Maurey extended Penn\'s lead to 3-0 by heading Brandon Stevis\' free kick past the keeper. Campton made a run for it with an 82nd minute Kevin Hilgart goal, but fell short for a final 3-1 score. The win places Penn in second place until the remaining four National League teams compete in Las Vegas.

The Lemont Raiders (IL) jumped out with an early 1-0 lead over Baltimore Bays Chelsea (MD) with a goal by Jose Garcia in the 9th minute. Romy Hernandez tied it up for the Bays after a corner kick with a near post header in the 34th minute, and he scored again on a PK in the 43rd minute leading to the Bays 2-1 win.
In a five minute time span, 94 CASL Elite (NC) tallied two for a 2-0 lead over the Dallas Texans 95 Red (N-TX) at the half. Jack Huber scored off a corner kick in the 24th minute, and teammate Williams (Ryan) Thompson scored in the 29th minute after being served the ball from the right side, the keeper then misplayed the ball and Thompson netted the goal from 10 yards out. It was too little too late for the Texans as Brandon Aubrey put them on the board in the 77th minute with a six yard header. Though the game ended 2-1 in CASL\'s favor, the Texans are still in third place, tied with the Bays.

Keegan Rosenberry rebounded Alexander Murphy\'s long shot off the crossbar for Penn Fusion\'s 30th minute goal. Dan Matthews upped Penn\'s lead to 2-0 with a 12 yard shot in the 59th minute. Concorde has yet to lose a game in league play this season, and today was no different marking their fourth tie thus far thanks to goals from Adrian Alabi and Drew Morgan in the 79th and 80th minutes for the 2-2 draw.

With a crisp short pass from Ricardo Garbanzo, the Under-17 Boys second leading goal scorer, Joel Perez netted at 35th minute CESA goal. Campton countered, but not until a 47th minute with a Zachary Matuszak goal. Looking for opportunities, Garbanzo beat two defenders and the keeper, knocking in a right-footed 50th minute shot to the left side. CESA\'s Daniel Valencia finished the 3-1 CESA victory by sliding home a loose ball in the 62nd minute.

It was a rocket shot 25-yards out on free kick by Westin Lendon in the 25th minute that put Concorde Fire Elite (GA) up 1-0 over Waza FC 94 Black (MI). Playing a man short, Waza rallied in the second half finding the 55th minute Jacobs Siims equalizer. There were several shots on goal, but neither team was able to find the finisher for a final 1-1 score.
Another draw in the Under-16 Boys came between Penn Fusion Academy Celtics (E-PA) and Tulsa TSC 94 Black (OK) with the game ending 0-0. Penn faces number two team, Concorde Fire tomorrow.

Taking advantage of strong winds in each half, Penn Fusion Academy Coppa (E-PA) marked a 2-0 victory over CESA Premier 92 (SC). Owen Griffith netted both goals, the first off a corner in the 13th minute and the second from 20-yards out in the 81st minute. Penn Fusion is one win behind their competitor for tomorrow, an undefeated GSA Phoenix (GA).
