South County and McLean MPS Dragons striker Alex Reed signs for Loyola
3 Feb, 2010Alex Reed, a senior at South County Secondary School, signed a National Letter of Intent on February 3 to play soccer for Loyola University Maryland.
A two time Washington Post All Met and All Northern Region selection, Reed holds the South County school record for both goals and assists.
Reed\'s club team, the reigning Virginia State Cup Champion U-18 MPS McLean Dragons, is currently ranked 4th in the Nation by the popular rakings system GotSoccer.com. She plays forward for the Dragons, where she was the leading scorer in the 2009 United States Youth Soccer National League.
