PSW Maryland High School highlights

It\'s that time of year again - high school playoff season! With so many schools, so many games, and so much information, following high school soccer news closely is almost impossible - even sometimes for your own school if they\'re no local news coverage. However, now that we\'re into playoff time, hopefully we\'ve captured most of the hoopla.

BOYS:
Tuscarora brought down Bethesda-CC 1-0 to advance to the semifinals.

Chapelgate is out of the Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland\'s B Conference playoffs losing, 3-0, to St. Paul\'s. In the C Conference, Towson Catholic bumped Glenelg Country School out in the quarterfinals, 4-1.

Grace Brethren erased a 3-0 deficit and earned a 4-3 overtime victory over the Christian Homeschool Educators Network Saturday afternoon in the Maryland Christian Schools tournament championship in Annapolis.

GIRLS:
Glenelg (1A) won against Patterson Hill 1-0. They meet Mardela in the State semifinals on November 7.

Poolesville won their first regional title since 2002, beating Smithburg 1-0 to advance.
