Virginia ODP announces tryout dates and locations

Virginia Youth Soccer Association (VYSA) has set the dates and locations for Olympic Development Program tryouts this fall.

The ODP program is designed to identify the nation’s top youth players. The ODP program directly feeds into the various youth and senior national teams.

Virginia’s ODP program is divided into four districts – Northern, Central, Southeastern and Western. Each district holds tryouts every summer for male and female players – this year’s tryouts include players born in 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995 and 1996. Players selected to their respective district teams will have the opportunity to make their age group’s state team.

The following dates and locations are set for the North District ODP tryouts (will be updated with additional dates shortly):

Times:  8:00 am - 10:00 am
Age Groups:  1992, 1993, 1995
Times:  10:00 am - 12:00 noon
Location:  Sterling NOVA - Loudoun Campus 

Gender:  Girls
Age Groups:  1994 and 1996
Times:  2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Age Groups:  1992, 1993, 1995
