Broad Run downs Stone Bridge in non-conference rivalry

In a game that meant nothing for either teams’ league standings, last night’s match up between AAA Stone Bridge and AA Broad Run girls high school teams had the flavor of a State Final. Ranked 4th and 5th respectively among all girls teams in the area by the Washington Post, the larger AAA school lost 3-1 to smaller AA Broad Run. Broad Run is now undefeated in all competitions this spring and favored for a VHSL State AA Championship.
