Two local boys make National USL Super-Y Select Teams

United Soccer Leagues Super Y-League ODP National Camps for boys ’92 and ‘93/’94 age groups drew to a close in Cocoa, Florida on Sunday. Over 300 of the best players from Super-Y teams around the country participated for the chance to make the national select team, and potentially be invited to train with West Ham United’s youth academy in England. Michael Howard from Richmond Strikers was named to the ‘93/’94 team, while Jacob Doyle from Northern Virginia Royals made the ’92 squad.
