Mia Hamm added to Texas sports hall

Former Braddock Road youth player and international soccer star Mia Hamm has been inducted into the Texas Sports Hall of Fame – an honor she was due to receive last year, but had to miss due to her pregnancy. Even though Hamm played youth soccer in the DC area, she spent part of her High School time in Texas. Joining her in the induction class is Dallas Cowboys receiving Michael Irvin, among others.
