Potomac Soccer Wire launches BLOGs

After over a year of publishing the Potomac Soccer Wire newsletter and web site, and about the past nine months of including a section called "Editor\'s Corner", we thought it was about time to take the step of starting a BLOG.

The content  may or may not be directly relevant to local soccer news, and it will at times include topics that are not covered in our newsletters. It\'s just an outlet for thoughts to share as we spend the majority of our time thinking soccer, so you can go about your normal lives and turn to us to bring you up to date.

As always, our goal is to address topics in a language that first year soccer mom\'s who\'ve never played can understand, but without alienating the foreign imports with soccer running through their veins since birth.

This won\'t be the first BLOG either. Charles Boehm will soon begin his space here, and we\'re looking for other soccer community leaders to step in as well. Head referees, league presidents, big tournament directors, drop us an email and we\'ll work on adding your voice to ours. We\'re also looking to offer a BLOG in Spanish. If you\'re heavily involved in LOCAL soccer, bi-lingual, and a good writer, we want you on our team!
