In the women’s division, the Hammer FC '92 Premier squad from Ohio clinched the championship after simply dominating their rival teams. Their defense proved impenetrable, and the team finished the tournament with 38 goals for and zero goals against. The Maryland Rush Nike '93s also posted impressive numbers, with their only losses coming against Hammer FC. They gave up four goals in the final, but ended the tournament with 16 goals for and eight against.
The men’s division saw Maryland’s Damascus Inferno squad winning the championship 5-0 against Pennsylvania’s Hulmeville Premier Revolution. The Inferno ended their tournament with a nearly perfect record, only giving up two goals in the semi-finals to North Carolina’s GUFC Red.
U15/16
North Carolina’s Piedmont Triad FC controlled the boys' U16 division from start to finish, posting 15 goals for and zero against. They defeated Pennsylvania’s BERKS BSA Rage 4-0 in the final. The U15 division showcased an intense final between North Carolina’s Johnston United and Virginia’s Burke AC Real Blue. United defeated Real Blue 1-0.
On the girl’s side, the U15s and U16s were combined, with Connecticut’s Southeast U16 squad winning the division based on points. They posted 17 goals for and eight against, with their only loss coming against the Virginia Rush Swoosh I, who finished second in points.
U14
Maryland’s Laurel Wildcats defeated the Cincinnati United Premier Cup Crew Juniors Black in the girls' U14 gold division. The Wildcats actually lost to the Juniors in division play 2-0, but battled back in the final to reverse the score to claim the title. In the silver division, North Carolina’s CASL '96 Premier won the division by points, winning all four of their games and racking up 13 goals for and just one goal against. Loudoun '96G Black were the finalists.
On the boy’s side, the Virginia Legacy Wizards defeated Delaware’s Henlopen SC Barracudas 1-0 in the final match. The Wizards made their way into the semi finals after winning their consolation game against Pennsylvania’s BERKS SA Rage Rage-Gunners, and then defeated North Carolina side Fuquay Varian Athletic Flash Red to reach the finals.
U13
In the girl’s gold division, Virginia Rush Nike defeated PWSI Courage '97 White 2-0 in the final after posting 15 goals for and zero against during the tournament. In the silver division the clubs flipflopped, with PWSI’s Courage '98 White defeating the Virginia Rush Swoosh 2-1 in the championship game.
Virginia Rush also won the boys' championship, with the Pen Swoosh squad clinching the championship with a 1-0 victory over the Richmond Strikers U13 Premier squad.
U12/U11/U10
The CASL Spartan Premier White team from North Carolina defeated Virginia’s AC Norfolk Samba 3-1 in the Blue division, while the Virginia Legacy East End Phoenix U11 won the U11/U12 White division after winning all four of their games and posting 14 goals for and one goal against total. The AC Norfolk Trofeo U11 team was second in the White division based on points. Virginia’s Strikers Wambach won the U11 Blue division 1-0 over the GFSC '99 Freedom. The MPS United Green United defeated the RKYSC South Sky Blue team 6-0 in the U10 Blue final, and in the U9/U10 White division Virginia Rush White won based on points over VLSC Phoenix.
On the U12 boys' side, the Rush Academy Blue team won the division based on points with three wins and one draw. The CASL '98 Premier team was second with three wins and a loss. In the U11 boys' division, the Virginia Legacy SC East End Wizards defeated the AYSO D.C. United team in a nail-biting 5-4 finish. Finally, in the U10 boys' Black division, Virginia Rush Academy White defeated the Virginia Legacy East End Wizards 4-2 in the final game.
