Where are the best teams from?
  Texas teams are better
  North Carolina Teams are better
  DC area teams are the best
  It just depends on the talent from year to year
  California teams are better

Who is the best U14 team in the nation? Is it the Dallas Sting? How about the SoCalBlues (from San Juan Capistrano)? What about CASL?

The California teams are well represented in gotso**er, 5 of the top 10 teams and if you include Vegas as part of contingent, then 60% of their top 10 are far west teams? Are they in fact better or do they just get more points because they can play tournaments year around? (wouldn't it be nice to play a January Tournament in shorts?)

There is just something special about the california teams. For one their players are huge, in addition to being well coached and vey skilled. I don't know if it has something to do with a general healthier lifestyle of the family out there or the fact that they can play outside most of the year in the southern parts of the state. A Cal. parent told me that the coaches look for big players. Saw six U13 teams over the summer and was completely blown away compared to our U13s, and i think we have some phenomenal U13 teams. ..
