Interesting results down at Disney at the ODP Inter-Regionals. Region IV teams won across the board -- 1992, 1993, 1994 -- even beating the NDP. Is the training better or is the pool larger? Thoughts?

I wish I lived back in SoCal again where it was 80 degrees last week. It's warm and comfortable enough to practice and play year-around outdoors. Even better, the summers are relatively cool (low 80's usually) and not humid so the conditions at that time of year are better for outdoor activities than here. When it's relatively cool and comfortable, I think the players are more inclined to head outside with a soccer ball to just kick it around.

USC just won the women's NCAA Div 1 championship yesterday and the roster was almost all kids from California. Florida State had kids from all over the rest of the country including one or two from our area, but USC dominated the game.

On the other hand, in the USYSA national tournaments, it's more balanced...there doesn't seem to be a regional dominance like you noticed at the ODP Inter-Regionals.
