U11 boys' DSC Dynamos (D2 NCSL)

The Damascus Dynamos, a NCSL Div 2 team (spring 2008), are looking for 4 players (DOB 8/1/96-7/31/97) to complete their roster. The Dynamos are coached by Sean Kelly who holds NSCAA Advanced National (=USSF National 'B'), NSCAA Level 1 Goalkeeping, USSF National 'C' and USSF National Youth coaching licenses. The team practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Germantown. Our philosophy is one of long term skills development in a fun, challenging and positive environment without an overemphasis on winning. The players are rotated through all field positions and are encouraged to play with maximum effort without fear of failure. Good sportsmanship and respect for opponents, teammates, referees, coaches and spectators are mandatory. Coach Kelly leads a 10 month a year program consisting of August team camp, fall and spring NCSL league play, several tournaments, and a strong winter program that includes indoor practices and futsal league games. The team takes a 2 month break in the summer (mid-June to mid-August).
